Dear Friend,

At 7 p.m. EST this coming Tuesday, June 3, before a live audience at
Town Hall in New York City, four extraordinary journalists will
discuss the realities behind the headlines of the war in Iraq.
Titled True Crimes: The Untold Story Behind the Devastation of Iraq,
the panel includes Seymour Hersh of The New Yorker, Jeremy Scahill,
author of the bestselling Blackwater,  and Laila Al-Arian and Chris
Hedges, co-authors of Collateral Damage: America's War Against Iraqi
Civilians,  the new title from Nation Books that reports the war from
the soldiers' point of view.

We would like to invite you to carry this historic forum live on your
website. To view the live feed (beginning at 7 p.m. EST on June 3),
we are giving you several options:

1) You can embed a Stickam player (email joe at nationinstitute.org for
the embed code) to a page on your site for a live feed
2) You can send viewers to www.stickam.com/thenationinstitute for a
live broadcast
3) You can send viewers to watch the live broadcast on
www.nationinstitute.org/p/video/livefeed

We'd also appreciate it if you would send an announcement around this
Monday and Tuesday to your various lists offering one or more of the
options mentioned above.

We'll let you know when and where the first streamlined high
definition version of the program will be archived, hopefully no more
than a day or so after the event itself.  And when we finish the
edited version, we'll let you know how to access the appropriate page.

Bear with us, we're working on this technology.  We understand the
experience will not be quite the same as if the viewer were at Town
Hall with us, but our thought is that for people all over the
country, this webcast will be a chance to watch and hear leading
progressive commentators offer an indispensable analysis of this
paramount issue.
