 The Jobs with Justice National Conference is in Providence,
Rhode Island!

This year the National Conference is right next door in
Providence Rhode Island, May 2nd though 4th. 
The Conference will attract a diverse group of more than 1,000 labor,
community, student, and religious activists from across the country and the
world for sessions on building power for workers, health care
for all, immigrant rights, the campaign for a floor wage in
Asia, student and youth organizing, low-income worker
organizing, music, art, fun, and more!

The conference combines skill building and information sharing
workshops with issue focused strategy discussions. In addition
to plenary sessions with distinguished speakers and workshops,
the National Conference is also an opportunity to celebrate the
work that local coalitions have done over the last year. 

Some of the highlights of this year’s the National Conference
include:

Health Care Action Strategy Session, which will explore direct
action approaches for building the base we need to win the
health care that working people deserve. 

Workers’ Rights Are Under Attack Issue Forum, which will explore
how we are fighting back with the Employee Free Choice Act &
what we need to do as labor, community, & faith allies and
Workers’ Rights Boards to improve conditions for all workers.

International Movement for Worker Justice Plenary, where
panelists will share innovative models of organizing from around
the world, and how Jobs With Justice is partnering with
organizations to move a global worker justice movement forward.
