Tired of voting rich and living poor?
Are you looking to help build an alternative to the
two-party monopoly?
Interested in ideas such as wealth re-distribution,
national healthcare and global peace?
Then Brian Moore might be your candidate. True, you
will not see Brian on the Presidential debates and
heck, due to restrictive access laws, he is not even
on the ballot in New York State. Yet his campaign
addresses many of the issues that poor and working
class New Yorkers face every day. While mainstream
candidates paper over these problems with empty
promises or proposals to expand the control of large
corporations, the Moore 2008 campaign provides
concrete proposals to address the growing class
inequalities in our city.
The Socialist Party USA (NYC) will be running a
grassroots write-in campaign as part of Brian Moores
national campaign. Volunteers are needed to help
develop this effort. Fresh ideas about outreach,
public relations and educational materials are
encouraged. Helping build this campaign will provide
thousands of New Yorkers with a chance to have their
vote represent their material interests.
The first meeting of the NYC wants Moore campaign will
be held this Thursday Jan. 31st at 7:00pm in the
Socialist Party National Office at 339 Lafayette St.
buzzer #7. You can find more info about Brians
campaign at the following websites:
