Open mic IRAQ PEACE FORUM at St. Mark's Church Sunday 2/18 6:00 - screening of Iraq For Sale: The War Profiteers, followed by discussion of both the wars and the antiwar movement.

The 75-minute film is the story of what happens to everyday Americans when corporations go to war. Acclaimed director Robert Greenwald (Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price, Outfoxed, and Uncovered) takes you inside the lives of soldiers, truck drivers, widows and children who have been changed forever as a result of profiteering in the reconstruction of Iraq. Iraq for Sale uncovers the connections between private corporations making a killing in Iraq and the decision makers who allow them to do so.

Afterwards everyone is invited to speak their mind on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the state of the antiwar movement, the powers that oppose us, and what can be done.

The Forum runs from 6:00 to 8:00 in the Parish Hall.

This event is presented in conjunction with the March 19 Peace Actions events -
