[From Greg, SP-NJ] All anti-racist/ queer-positive folks are welcome to join the NJ crew at the Brothers For Sisters Water Brigade at the June 24th Dyke March in NYC (women and men invited). Lidell Jackson has been putting this together for the years and a few of us from North Jersey, SP, ARA, Bergen Action, etc. have been joining in. Lauren, Andrea, Trevor and me were the "NJ crew" folks last year- let's double that number. Basically we set up a tables with cups of water on 14th St. and hand out water to the marchers, clean up and join the party at Washington Sq. It's allot of fun, the marchers appreciate it and the Dyke march has always been the more radical of the LGBTQ weekend events. Forget the pro-corporate "official" march the next day.
