Meetings are currently held on the second weekend of every month. E-mail for times before attending
All locals of the SP-USA are mandated to elect a Local Executive Committee. Our LEC is made up of any member in good standing of the SP-USA who has been approved for membership by a majority of any LEC meeting.
Prior to November 2005, the LEC was:
Sam M. - Chair
Justin Denton - Secretary
Tommy Miles - Treasurer
Plus two voting at-large members, all elected by mail ballot of the membership.
From December 2005 to April 2006, the LEC chose to disolve itself, and assign officers at each meeting by the vote of a simple majority of members attending.
Begining April, 2006, Chair, Secretary and Treasurer were again chosen by vote, but their powers were limited to strictly administrative functions. All other decisions were to be take by vote of the LEC.
Standing committees (usually of one) are elected as needed, and disolved by simple majority of SPNYC members in good standing
