What can Americans learn from Taiwan`s successful move to a national
single-payer health insurance system?

In 1995, Taiwan implemented a national single-payer healthcare system
that provides coverage tothe entire population for about 5% of GDP.
America, despite spending nearly 3X as much as Taiwan on healthcare, has
hundreds of millions of under and uninsured. Could Taiwan`s single payer
success be replicated in the U.S.A?

To inform our judgment, we will screen `Sick Around The World` a
PBS Frontline documentary that contrasts America`s market-based
healthcare systems against the universal healthcare systems in use around
the world, including Taiwan`s single-payer system.
